Last year, iQOO launched the iQOO 12 and iQOO Neo 9 series in China. Now, the brand is working on its next series of smartphones, the iQOO Neo 10 series. According to recent leaks, the iQOO Neo 10 series is being prepared for the Chinese market. A tipster called Digital Chat Station has shared some details about the Neo 10 series before its expected launch in the last quarter of this year. Here’s what we know so far.
iQOO Neo 10 Series: Key Details
The tipster revealed that the new iQOO Neo series will be a high-performance phone range, featuring the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Dimensity 9400 processors. It’s expected that the next-generation Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 will be available in phones released after the Neo 10 series.
There’s a chance that the iQOO 13 series could be launched after the iQOO Neo 10 series this year, but the tipster didn’t confirm this. The Neo 10 phones are expected to use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, while the Pro version might have the Dimensity 9400 chipset.
Design and Display
A Weibo post also revealed that the iQOO Neo 10 models will have a metal middle frame, which is different from the plastic frame used in the Neo 9 series. The Neo 10 model is expected to support fast charging with a silicon battery, possibly offering more than 100W fast charging and a battery capacity of over 6,000mAh. The smartphone may also feature very thin bezels and a flat screen with a 1.5K resolution, providing better eye protection and display quality.
Background on iQOO Neo 9 Series
Last year, the iQOO Neo 9 series had two models: the Neo 9 and Neo 9 Pro. The Neo 9 came with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, while the Neo 9 Pro used the Dimensity 9300 chipset. The Neo 9 Pro was only available in China, while the Neo 9 was rebranded as iQOO Neo 9 in India. There’s no information yet about the global launch of the Neo 10 series.
